Hello

After studying abroad in Rome, I felt certain that I would return someday - that experience was left unfinished. Upon graduating, I took a year-long job assignment back in the city that won my heart and ignited my faith - Rome! As a cradle Catholic, my faith always held a place of primacy in my life, but I didn't realize how lukewarm I actually was. My year in Rome was a year of discovery and life changing experiences, as I encountered sacred relics, tombs of holy men and women who lived passionately for Christ or even died courageously defending Truth. I journeyed to holy places throughout Europe with a curiosity and openness to discovering more which transformed my faith from something I had been taught to something real, something tangible, something powerful!

While I was having radical spiritual and intellectual encounters in Rome and beyond, I was also gaining skills in arranging local, regional and international group experiences. Little did I know where this would take me. With a background in math and secondary education, I expected to come home and resume my educational path as a teacher in a local middle or high school. However, after just a few short years in a classroom, God took me in a new direction.

While pregnant with my second child, I woke up super early one morning with vivid thoughts swirling around my mind - an itinerary, destinations, dates and even a business name. I took it all to prayer, asking God if this was Him or me. Each day thereafter, I woke up with a sense of urgency to starting planning a pilgrimage. In response, I began researching how to start a business and even recruited an investor! Once the itinerary and basic foundation was laid, I called a couple local parishes to solicit this maiden pilgrimage to, and to my shock and joy, I received a call back with a "YES!" For His Glory Tours was born that year with my first group pilgrimage journeying to Italy and Medjugorje. My pipe dream turned into a reality in 2012, and I've never ceased thanking God for allowing me to share my passionate zeal for travel, history, the Catholic Church and time spent with Him over and over again.
